Purpose

Opportunities for Ohioan with Disabilities is seeking to increase the use of innovative technology to assist individuals with disabilities maintain employment. Priority will be given to technology designed to address the needs of the following targeted disability populations. 1) Developmental Disabilities 2) Deaf or hard of hearing 3) Blind or visually impaired

RFP Summary

OOD’s mission is to provide individuals with disabilities opportunities to achieve quality employment, independence and disability determination outcomes. To support this mission, OOD is seeking to increase the use of innovative technology to assist individuals with disabilities maintain employment.

Implementation and Sustainability plan for this program shall include:1) Type of technology
2) Integration into Vocational Rehabilitation services
3) Training plan for individuals
4) Timeline for all phases of rollout, training, and final implementation
5) Proposed milestones of project
6) Outcome expectations
7) Sustainability Plan of innovative technology after initial funding

Respondents shall demonstrate how technology can be used in an innovative manner for employment for individuals with disabilities. Priority will be given to technology designed to address the needs of the following targeted disability populations.
