Goals/Objectives
The goals of the City’s curbside management efforts are to:
1. Reduce traffic congestion.
2. Influence safe vehicle movement.
3. Reduce the impact on the use of allocated curb space.
4. Influence a safe and pleasant visitor experience.
5. Enhance the quality of life for our residents.
6. Assist/enhance enforcement efforts.
7. Gather analytical data
8. Communicate relevant data to the public
Tangible Work Products / Scope of Work
In the pursuit of addressing the issues and Curb Allocation Taskforce initiatives discussed, the City of Las Vegas is requesting information on technology or service solutions that will support curbside management efforts. The City anticipates interest in the following solution areas:
1. City‐wide Curbside Asset Management Services – installing, operating, analyzing, and maintaining curbside data collection equipment.
2. Electronic/Digital Services – installing, operating, analyzing, and maintaining electronic/digital services including signage and enforcement-based solutions.
3. City‐wide Curbside Management Services – developing a system to consolidate disparate curbside management tools, datasets, and processes into one transparent, customer accessible, data driven, GIS centric system.
4. Technology solutions that inform the customer of travel, mode, and parking choices based on curbside congestion.
