US Ignite hosted a discussion on how community members are rising to the challenge of COVID-19 by producing much needed medical supplies through 3D Printing.  We assembled a panel of experts from the cohort of over 30 communities that are part of our Smart and Connected Communities program, started by the National Science Foundation.  The panel shared real world experiences and the resources they used to ramp up efforts, and insight gained from working with local healthcare professionals.  The speakers represent a spectrum of options in communities, from grassroots efforts to small businesses.

We’re including a list of resources referenced like Open Source 3D Print files and build instructions, to get started in your community.

US Ignite would like to thank the panelists, and everyone stepping up during the crisis, for their hard work and support.
