Accelerator Program and Small Business Training Series
InnovateSLC offers startups, entrepreneurs, and small businesses in Salt Lake City, Utah, a unique opportunity to help build and grow the local economy through two distinct initiatives – an accelerator and small business training series. This program is possible thanks to funding from the Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration (EDA).
Developed and facilitated by Kinect Capital (formerly VentureCapital.Org), the accelerator program is an intensive course designed to provide participants with the tools, resources, and support they need to grow their businesses and bring their innovations to market. Throughout the program, participants have access to mentorship and training from experienced industry experts and opportunities to network and collaborate with other entrepreneurs.
The latest seven startups to participate the accelerator program included:
- LoChi Market
- Blendyd Studios
- RefloDx, Inc.
- Right Angle Engineering

Small Business Training
A wave of emerging technologies is reshaping both education and industry. However, few small business workers can access them today. To make these technologies accessible to ALL, we designed a completely free training series for small businesses serving Salt Lake City.
Participating small businesses can expect to tap into our network of community institutions like universities, museums, and libraries to learn how to access cutting-edge tools to create new projects and services.
