US Ignite, Inc. (“US Ignite”) is seeking IoT (Internet of Things) based solutions from technology partners that provide, deploy, and maintain Occupancy Sensing Systems for the Space Utilization using Mobile Occupancy (SUMO) project. The solution must be capable of detecting the number of occupants in both commercial and military facilities in the United States by placing IoT sensors in/around these facilities. The objective is to use this data to help installations see which facilities are being under or over-utilized, and to use this information to better plan space allocations.

The total maximum budget allocated for this project is $40,000, which will be awarded through a firm fixed price (FFP) contract. The final contract amount will be determined based on specific project requirements, such as the number of occupancy sensors and whether they are leased or purchased, and other cost-influencing factors while remaining within the allocated budget. The period of performance is from May to September 2025.
