Focusing on time - how long does this currently take and what are the strengths / weaknesses. We will propose the concept of doing all of this remotely using a Forensic Operations Center (a play on SOC/NOC). Provide strengths/ weaknesses.
Using SDN and across the board virtualization, service providers can remotely control and deliver any application to users. An example of the application delivery system will be demonstrated. Several server applications will initiate client VMs and deliver and control content remotely. The examples will include web browser, office suite (word processor, spreadsheet, powerpoint, and other), video games, emergency communications, a two way video phone, etc. The dynamic packet priorities will be demonstrated via OpenFlow.
ParaDrop is a virtualized platform for home WiFi gateways that allows diverse third-party services (e.g., home automation) to be easily installed and managed. - We will show how developers can install different applications and services on a home WiFi gateway to: 1) Sense the home environment by collecting temperature and humidity information from home deployed WiFi sensors; 2) View a home security camera that stores its data privately in the home gateway; and 3) Operate a media transcoding service that allows us to stream news channels to the home users over WiFi paths.

BABBLE - Instant text and speech communication connecting multilingual participants. We give a demonstration of a speaker presenting to multilingual participants. The demonstration will consist of an English speaker with Spanish and Chinese participants using three laptops to communicate instantly. The translation is written and spoken in the participants' native languages.
The drone-carried on-demand WiFi networks provide in-time, reliable and high-speed WiFi access at emergencies, public events, and rural areas when such infrastructures are destroyed, do not meet the demands, or do not exist. We will demonstrate two flying drones providing on-demand WiFi networks. Directional antennae are used to significantly extend the WiFi transmission range. A heading control enables robust connection despite disturbances and drone mobility.
User and location-aware content filtering. We will be demonstrating how the network can exchange user and location data with an iBoss content filter, allowing the content filter to apply customized content filtering profiles depending on user and user location, e.g. classroom vs. cafeteria.

Securing OpenMRS (open source medical record system) by deploying it in the SeaCat Application Containment framework. Demo will show the following: - Initially user only has access to the default network context. - User uses a browser to request access to the medical record server. - User goes through SeaCat-enhanced single-sign-on (SSO) procedure. - On success: = User device is dynamically associated with the secure network context which contains the medical record server. = On the user device the medical record client application is started up within a lightweight container. = The lightweight container is also associated with the secure network context. - In this manner access to the medical record system is secured in an end-to-end manner.
Our interactive physical therapy interface provides remote, in-home assessment and coaching with quantitative measurement of balance and movement 1. A physical therapist (PT) will be standing by at the University of Missouri, Columbia, MO. 2. Participants at the US Ignite Application Summit will be able to work remotely with the PT as she guides them through a set of balance and walking exercises using the new interactive interface with a Microsoft Kinect positioned at each end. 3. The interface will show the live patient performance quantitatively through visualizations. 4. GENI hardware is used in the interface to achieve seamless streaming of video, audio, depth, and skeletal data from the Kinect. 5. Networking performance is also shown.
