Augmented Reality Developer Challenge
With generous support from Reality Labs, US Ignite provided $20,000 in cash to three communities – Philadelphia, Raleigh/Town of Cary, and Long Beach. Each community identified cash or in-kind services from other partners to match the awarded funds. The three communities then hosted a local AR Developer Challenge Competitions that tasked entrepreneurs, hackers, makers, developers, and other creative minds with using AR to target problems in areas such as healthcare, workforce development, public welfare, and education.
